Candle Care

Proper candle care helps you enjoy your LuScents candle safely and get the best possible fragrance experience.

Your First Burn

The first burn is important. Allow the melted wax to reach close to the edges of the container to help create an even melt pool and minimize tunneling.

Avoid burning your candle for an extended period. Follow the safety instructions provided with your candle and never leave it unattended.

Before Each Burn

• Trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch before lighting.
• Remove any wick trimmings or debris from the surface of the wax.
• Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant, level surface.
• Keep the candle away from drafts, fans, curtains, and anything flammable.

During Each Burn

• Keep the wick centered and trimmed.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep away from children and pets.
• Do not move the candle while the wax is hot or melted.
• Avoid burning near drafts or other heat sources.

When to Stop Burning

For safety, discontinue use when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the container. Never burn a candle all the way to the bottom.

After Burning

Allow the candle and wax to cool completely before handling or storing it.

Keep your candle covered or stored in a cool, dry place when not in use to help protect the fragrance and wax.

Every candle may behave slightly differently depending on the environment, room temperature, airflow, and burn conditions. Following these care instructions will help you get the most from your LuScents candle.

Burn Safely

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep candles away from anything that can catch fire and keep them out of reach of children and pets.
